Max Papis Racing announced today that is has formed a non-exclusive partnership with Wolf Racing Cars, Italy, and Motorsports Southwest, LLC, Austin, Texas.<\/p>\n
The companies have agreed to work together to promote the Wolf line of open cockpit LMP3 sports car that range from the CN Spec GB08 with a Honda K20 engine to the GB08SR that runs the 450 HP RPE V8.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Wolf is a very impressive car. It is very quick and very fun to drive. The car has very good balance, amazing aero grip and is well designed and built. During the first 30 minutes I drove the car, I set a track record. Of course, Wolf is based in Italy near where I was born so that is a plus also\u201d, said Max Papis, legendary driver with an impressive career starting in karts and spanning all possible types of road racing from Formula 3 to Formula One to Grand Am, Daytona Prototypes, CART, Indy 500, to 24 Hours of LeMans, to NASCAR. \u201cI can see why Wolf has such a strong winning record in the European Endurance races\u201d.<\/p>\n

Max will be participating with Wolf and Motorsports Southwest at various track events and select races in 2013 and 2014.<\/p>\n
